The set up - this is basically me just setting up for a casting. Right now what I'm doing is just putting down some papers so they don't damage the floor of the cyc.. I'm gonna shoot them on drop out white so I'm setting up some trees in the background and a nice three quarters soft light. Something real simple.
Note: A tree is basically just two lights stacked on top of each other with two umbrellas. They just give you a nice broad light source, just a big wall of light. And then the three quarter light is usually just a big parabolic or octa with a baffle inside and a sock on the outside.
Note 2: The V flats I'm using to cover the trees or the back lights are used to cut any bleed from the lights that might fall onto subject.
